gold hotel exceeded our expectations during our summer holiday in budapest. the staff were incredibly helpful and gave us great tips for getting around the city. the free breakfast was fantastic, with a wide selection of delicious food. our room was spacious and well-decorated, and the hotel's quiet location made for a peaceful night's sleep.

Staff were extremely helpful even though we arrived late. Breakfast buffet was great. Hotel is close to the city and this is reached by an easy walk down hill. On site parking is also a plus.
Did hear some traffic noise but this is the same in most cities we have stayed in Europe.

Nasty lingering smell of smoking in the room - not good. And second- rate breakfast, eg: sugary orange juice, silly sweet biscuits that nobody likes

Fairly clean place & knowledgeable and attentive staff from the cleaner up to the top management. Exceptionally nice and easy location to Szechenyi Chain Bridge. Short walk from restaurants and bars and short walk from a castle and a church.

Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast. The hotel is located on a hillside between tourist spots. There is also transportation available to the airport. The breakfast was well worth the money, and the hotel facilities were spotless.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Noisy enviroment - hotel is located near the road with heavy traffic (during the night also). Some guests are making terrible noise during all the night - without any action of staff :-(

This is a clean, luxurious hotel. It has very friendly staff team from the cleaner up to the top management. The breakfast is good hot with scrambled eggs, toast plus cheeses, had everything you could imagine. I would like to go back here again thanks to central location.
